    1. What is the name of your blog?
    The Journey
    2. What is the url?
    http://thejourneytosomewhere.blogspot.com/
    3. How long have you been blogging?
Since January 2008 – I guess I started just a little before you
    4. What is your blog about?
It is my journey, rather obviously, but not just my physical journey but also my journey through life. My blog starts in Colorado where I was living at the time but just as I was leaving for Latvia a friend asked if I would keep a blog to let them know what was happening. God also told me to keep a record through the words of another Christian who knew noting about me. The blog details the ups and downs, not just of life in Latvia where we live as an ordinary couple not missionaries per se, but also some of my thoughts about various subjects which interest me and make me think. I am studying Managing Sustainable Rural Development and so a lot of what I study ends up feeding into my thoughts on life here in rural Latvia and beyond.
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
I am constantly amazed by some of the folks that follow my blog from different scenarios but somehow we have clicked online and have made good friends which has been a great source of encouragement just to keep going doing what I am doing.

    2. What is the url?
    http://truthontheway.net/
    3. How long have you been blogging?
On this particular blog, since October 2007
    4. What is your blog about?
I mostly write about the journey the Lord has me on which usually means discovering the depths of grace, learning to live by Christ, sharing other blog posts that bless me and various other things that pass through my life from time to time. Looking through from the beginning, you can definitely see my thoughts and influences shift – it’s nice to be able to look back and see some signs of progress in Christ
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
I am a fairly sporadic blogger, depending on how busy the other parts of my life are. I have lots of good intentions, a couple of private journal scribblings I plan to convert into and some series’ in process (at least in my mind). Right now, I’m in the middle of a non-blogging phase due to hectic life-changing seasons, but I’m looking to up the amount I write soon

    4. Things that come into my head. I’m a trained youth worker, also involved in church leadership, so those kind of things. Also, culture, society and mission, and some deeper theological thoughts. And some fun stuff I see on the internet and want to share.
    5. I recently switched to tumblr for my blog so I can easily interact and ‘reblog’ other people’s thoughts who also use tumblr. I’ve found this a much more interactive and more natural way of blogging – although I’m not sure whether the quality of the blog itself has gotten better or whether it has suffered. My blogging tends to be very spontaneous and come in ebbs and flows.

    3. How long have you been blogging?
On this blog, since August 2008
    4. What is your blog about?
I write about learning to live and die in Christ. He is the life that’s living on the earth today, and I attempt to capture how that looks. Sometimes that’s funny, sometimes it’s not, but it’s always real.
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
I’ve had other blogs before, but since I started on the path of the organic church expression, I decided to begin anew. There was a season where I didn’t blog much at all, but the Lord is resurrecting that burning desire to do so.
Now that I am a part of a body of believers learning to live by Christ’s indwelling life, I’ve got a lot of material from which to draw. Plus, with others blogging as well, it’s fun to chronicle right along side them.
    Thanks for this opportunity, Frank.

Sorting through my past religious beliefs. Like Luther and his 95 Thesis I’ve got some issues I’d like the church to dialog about. Unity, Gospel of the Kingdom, God is Love, Hell, Leadership, …
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
I think unity is essential. Yet I sometimes struggle with the fact that I’m writing stuff that to some seems divisive. I have to live with that tension, and seek to build up others to become more like Christ.

I started in April of 2009 on Facebook and moved to Blogspot last year. I still post my blogs on FB because some of the people who read my stuff have asked me to do that.
    4. What is your blog about?
I write about the things I’m grateful for and I write about thoughts and ideas I feel God brings to my mind…or I write about nail polish. A person can be grateful for that, too!!! lol

Primarily a collection of some of my musings. It is dedicated to what I’ve called, “The Growing New Reformation: Pursuing the De-Institutionalization of the Church.” To that end, I’m “Pressing On.” (Philippians 3: 12-14).
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
Usually these postings come out of my personal devotional times; other times they come from strange or funny news items. It deals primarily with perceived errors in the church but also has a quest to not dwell on the past but to move forward (pressing on) and grow in the Lord. Comments for discussion are encouraged.

    4. What is your blog about?
The Lord teaches us lessons in our day-to -day walk with Him. Not everything is deeply theological, but sometimes He gives us a gold nugget and says, “Tell others.” Well, I’ve felt the Lord say “Tell others” to me about the tiny gold nuggets He gives and the normal everyday happenings that He is authoring and perfecting.
Also, I write about my experience thus far in Organic Church.
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
I’ve learned a lot about writing and people through blogging. I’ve learned how people react to things they don’t hear every day, and how some will completely overlook the main point and only see something that was slightly mentioned in a sentence. I’ve even learned about myself and how I react towards opposition or correction. I’ve learned that people won’t always agree with you, especially Christians, and that I need to worry if they do or not, only Jesus is right.
Writing is something I absolutely love and the blog has taught me more about writing and audience than any book could ever teach!

    4. What is your blog about?
My blog’s purpose is to inspire, ignite and impact lives. It was birthed out of the questions from the women I teach weekly in Woman 2 Woman at Impact Church since other people may have the same concerns. I share words of encouragement based on my experiences as a wife, mother, Bible teacher and friend.
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
Life is never dull, so blogging shouldn’t be either. The random topics might come as a surprise to some. I’ve discussed everything from saving your cell phone from water damage to sex. 3. How long have you been blogging?

    4. What is your blog about?
I tend to write mostly about trying to live a biblical church life in community. Having served as pastor of a traditional SBC church for a few years has given me many things, both good and not so good, to discuss. My resignation from that position this past October has certainly led to an interesting past few months (I’m now seeking secular employment). Blogging has stretched me a great deal, mostly through the comments left by brothers and sisters in Christ.
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
I have a number of friends who remain traditional church pastors. Although we are friends, we now disagree fairly significantly on a number of church related issues. This has led to good discussions on the blog. I have found that the folks in favor of organic church life have a much easier time supporting their positions and beliefs than do folks who favor the institutional model.

    3. How long have you been blogging?
Off and on for about three years. This blog is about 8 months old.
    4. What is your blog about?
The blog is about Jesus Christ. Nothing else. Also, I designed the blog to be a community experience. None of us can reveal the unsearchable riches of our Lord by ourselves. So there is a tab at the top of the blog that says “Contribute Your Post”. There are instructions there to submit something about your view into the unfathomable depths of Christ. So the goal is to have lots of different aspects of Christ being posted by lots of different people.
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
A reader of the blog sent in a post about seeing Christ in snowflakes. I posted it with a couple of pictures of snowflakes. With the big winter here in the U.S., the most popular search term that lands on my blog is “snowflake”. I’ve seen a correlation between the number of visits to my blog and the amount of snow on the ground.

    3. How long have you been blogging?

    4. What is your blog about?
The journey, part farm, part restoration, part walking His meadows in life, but all for One.
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
There’s a whole community of folks who are seeking to be real and walk out their Walk and encourage others along the way. I feel blessed to have a place to go and share our place in the journey. And for me personally writing, sometimes it’s just a seed planted in thoughts but when I go to write it grows in the process. I’ve wondered if that’s how God meant it to be with writing/writers, how He waters and grows words once we are faithful with the ‘seed’ and plant it.

    4. What is your blog about?
The three areas of the name of my blog: God’s Word (e.g. biblical studies and reflections, lectionary series, reviews); Our Words (e.g. theology, preaching, missional church) and the World (politics, contemporary affairs, movies, arts, etc.) My perspective is radically Christian, ruthlessly missional, and radiantly gospel-centered – the sort of profile so badly needed and so little in evidence in North America today.

    4. What is your blog about?
Mostly Christianity and Church related thoughts. Or from another angle, it’s a thoughtful look at many subjects shaped by faith in Christ.
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
I completely created my website from scratch. I literally wrote my own blogging software. I wrote virtually every line of code that makes the site. The programming, design, pictures and content are all mine. (At the time I started my site, I don’t believe things like WordPress were as well developed as they are now, and I wasn’t even familiar with them anyway.) And Frank, I implemented at least one of your suggestions: I now have a clearer, easier to navigate “Archives” page.

    4. What is your blog about?
We are a small simple church group in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Our main purpose in blogging is to encourage and edify other simple churches all over the world. We just started a new blog schedule: Monday and Friday’s posts are recaps of our Sunday and Thursday regularly scheduled church meetings. Tuesday is a day when we share recipes made by different members of our body. On Wednesday, my friend April shares something, either a link to another site, or a teaching, or whatever she likes. Thursday, anyone in the body is invited to share something.
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
It’s definitely a good idea to have a specific email address for your blog. People from many different countries have contacted us this way for networking purposes. Also, don’t assume that only Christians are viewing your blog. We actually know of several atheists and agnostics who read more often than our Christian friends. Your purpose for the blog may not be all that God is going to do with it.

Faith and following Jesus. I’m a new writer, and Blame Lewis is a simple way for me to publish and get feedback on my writing, as well as interacting with people over the content.
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
Well, I don’t see myself as a blogger so much as a writer. That might sound like an odd distinction, but it’s all about focus. My aim is to improve as a writer, so I work on a post until I’m happy with it, and that might take a week or more. Unlike most bloggers, I don’t pressure myself to post every day.
I do, however, write every day (usually in a notebook).

    4. What is your blog about?
It’s a “layman’s” perspective, if you will (mine!), of much of the Reformed/ Reformed Baptist/ Calvinistic circles and beliefs that I’ve learned over the years in various churches. I apply Sola Scriptura, the Berean spirit and a few other tools and have come up with some different conclusions. I ask some hard questions and am not afraid to challenge the status quo on points of theology, especially ecclesiology.
    5. Tell us one thing about your blogging experience that we might find of interest:
Knowing nothing of other beliefs than what came from the critiques offered by my immediate theological influences, the discovery of the internet was a valuable resource in changing my world view. I not only read things directly from the source, but found things I never heard before. I read Anglicans, anarchists, Baptists, Catholics, Presbyterians, reconstructionists, Eastern Orthodox, libertarians, Lutherans, apostates, “house church,” and even a Gaian priest!

Charlie’s Church of Christ can be found at charlieschurchofchrist.wordpress.com – I wrote my first entry in July of 2010, immediately after the birth of my first child. I like your blog sharing agenda, if one can call it that. Thousands of interesting, provocative, and stimulating ideas are just a click away.
