Are you going to write a book?
Are you thinking of writing a book or eBook? I know I am! Scott Berkun has a website at
http://www.scottberkun.com/ and the best thing is he is so honest about everything on his site. He tells it “like it is.” For example if you have a passion about a topic or subject then he suggested that you should know that IS a great idea for a book. Here is his article http://www.scottberkun.com/blog/2010/is-your-book-idea-good/. I didn’t even know he had a website until today.

So tell me, do you want to write a book or eBook?
Share with others what you wish to do. I plan to publish a “POEMS” eBook. I am finishing the last touches and then will find the way to get it published. So, I have my idea which is Poems which I wrote long ago to publish, now I have to find the publishing avenue which I am researching as we speak here.
After I submitted this I got an amazing email from http://outskirtspress.com/index.html a publishing company!

Hey Jackie:
This is such a refreshing post.
eBooks are great branding and marketing tools for any blogger. I have completed 3 eBooks and a couple short reports that I have on Scribd and on my blog as free giveaway to my readers.
I hope this post will move your readers to action - to start writing their own eBooks soon.
I’ve written two unpublished novels and, now that the disppointment of not being able to generate interest in either one has started to wear off, I’m beginning to allow myself a little bit of gratification that I finished them in the first place.
I’m the type to aim for the stars, fail every time (pesky gravity!), and then feel like pond scum for months (or years) afterwards.
But, as usual, I haven’t addressed the topic. Which I do now: I’m getting the itch to start my third one.
Third time’s the charm? Anyone?
oldancestor: never give up and I will encourage you whole heartily.

New blog entry but different than this challenge. You might like it as I write about my spiritual insights mostly.
Brilliant entry and I love the website. The advice has encouraged me to finish of the first draft of a nearly completed novel. Thank you . M
I’ve published some books on paper, now I am blogging with wordpress, being glad about the quick feedbacks (a problem if you have published a book on paper); now I am considering to publish an e-book: but via which platform?
I hear ya on the ebook thing, which platform. Have you considered Scribd.com? It is wonderful! I have been on it for years. I give away everything but my poems ebook that I do on there will be for sale. It’s free to sign up and distribute. Hope that helps.
http://www.scribd.com/
I’ll try to understand that platform now …
thank you for advice!
Wow! Way to go Jackie
This post is helpful for me too, thank you!
