“publish my poems book” It is so hard. There must be elevendy billion people out there trying to do this. And not silly stuff. Great stuff. I enter every poetry contest. The companies select you as a “winner” and charge you $60 for a copy. I suppose it is a vanity thing but you get a bunch of poems published like this you have accumulated a portfolio and such may interest a publisher more than someone without a track record. I am really no one to advise someone because I know nothing about the business but I am doing this with my cartoons too. I have 2 magazines that publish my cartoons. I think that gives me a footing to interest a publisher for a book, but cartoons are just as hard as poems to get something going. Good luck.
