So the third thing that I can see is my magic reclining chair, which is an absolute godsend when my ME is bad and my muscles and joints are aching. It was organised by an OT and was measured to fit me. I wasn’t sure when she first talked about changing the chair I usually sat in - I thought it was comfortable and it reclined too, so how different could another one be, right?
How wrong I was! Two men delivered it from the mobility supplies store and brought it in in two pieces because it was so heavy. They put it together and showed me how it worked, not too complicated, one button for up, another for down - I could manage that.
The thing that’s really cool is that, not only does it recline all the way back, it actually goes all the way up so it helps you to stand. It’s incredible although you feel like you’re sitting on the Terminator and he’s standing you up. Creepy at first; but makes life so much easier!

Very cool experiment! Thanks for sharing. It takes true skill to write about “nothing’ and make it something!
Thanks for the repost!
You are so welcome. I got to see who reads mine at the bottom…I have some of the greatest comment-ors and friends on here.
I like the idea of your chair and the fact that it is built to your measurements…. That must be a tremendous help after a day spent on your feet.
I love your cross stitch too.
Cool, yea, I would love to see them! I admire someone who has the dedication to learn how to cross stitch and sit there for long periods of time and complete it! I have considered learning but I don’t have that much dedication!
Yes, I have several I guess I should post them all huh? I love art and I don’t do cross stitch now, I did it when my now 17 yr old was a baby.
I love the roses cross stitch, Did you make it? Roses are so pretty!
OK. One, two, three. Spoon. 4. kitchen, 5 freezer, 6 ice cream, 7 heaven. Good idea you had.
