We are finally all moved in, but have many boxes to unpack. In Chicago Illinois, it’s been in the upper 90′s (HOT!!!).
I really do not wish to ever move ever again!
I have a living room with two couches and since we don’t own a bed, we have to put that on our to buy list.
My whole body aches but I am finally going to praise god for it all to be over with.

Just did this end of March. What a job it was even though I got rid of more than half my things. First two days just major stuff then a slow week for everything else. But don’t have to hear gunshots in the night(this is Miami) or take inventory of whose car got stolen . Now on the water and safe where I am now. Good luck.

Now all you need is the energy to unpack , arrange and decorate. It’s not easy to move. I probably did it 5-6 times. But once you settle in, what a relief. take a breath in between and just take your time. When I drove from California to Texas, It was agonizing. Same as you, I don’t want to do it again.

The worst is over Jackie - unpacking the boxes and putting stuff in it’s rightful place is exciting because you will see your new home ‘come together’ again - then you can relax!
