This is a post from my other website where I do more of my writing.
Poem I wrote:
2012, a year of blessings beyond ones imagination.
It will be the year that we all will rise to God’s Salvation.
A year when our testimonies reach all lost souls.
A year when our lives completes His goals.
A year where God will Stand in awe.
As our Nation rises without a flaw.
It is in Faith we will See that all belong to He.

My son and his wife (as well as my sister and her sons and their families) live in Chicago. I visit there…but not in the winter. Your weather report shows why.
Your poem is lovely, Jackie…thank you for sharing it with us.
Great poem and pic!
THE HOOK_ I came up with this poem on a friends site because he prays for me… thanks for liking it as I came up with it “in the moment” of thoughts and words. I guess I can be a great poet when I want to…. xoxoxo

Yeah, you guys get some nasty winters… but it has been mild this year, right?
Eliz this has been the mildest winter ever for us!!
Good luck with the snow cleanup, we haven’t seen any snow here in the Northeast since October. Your poem is so beautiful, from your creative mind to God’s ears. Be careful with your back, lift with the legs, in our old age we don’t bounce back the way we used to.
I hear ya laurie! Thanks so much..
I wish Chicago would send some snow east to us - we love snow but the closest we’ve come is morning frost.
Jackie hang in there and buy a large shovel
No snow here in asouth Carolina yet….Yeah.
I bet you’re glad you are in Illinois and not Cordova, Alaska right now.
LOL Debra! I have to be outside - to shovel - to maintain our house outside…work and get the cars out of the driveway…. Wishing Summer was here already in my old age…
I think God knew I couldn’t survive! I’m not that hardy…and I complain way too much! I hope you have a wardrobe with plenty of beautiful coats, scarves and good quality long underwear! And can you possibly just stay indoors? Debra
