Weekly Photo Challenge: Windows

New to The Daily Post? Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, you’re invited to get involved in our

Weekly Photo Challenge

to help you meet your blogging goals and give you another way to take part in Post a Day / Post a Week. Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography.

Here’s how it works:

1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.

2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use a “postaday2011″ or “postaweek2011″ tag.

3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS.

Lots of traditional architecture in Brazil, under Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish and English influences…
Here is my “collection of windows” for this week’s challenge!

    Cheers!

  14. Over the years I have captured so many photographs of windows, so I could have taken this theme in so many directions. I decided on a meditation about light and air pollution, and the subsequent loss of sunshine in our cities (specifically Hong Kong).http://cinova.wordpress.com/2011/11/05/weekly-photo-challenge-windows/

  15. Ok, this is my second addition to this weeks challenge, but I completely forgot I had these photos until now!

Handmade Gift I made Today

Today I got a creativity streak and made this: ( I will probably add to it later)

Step 1. Get supplies: Glue, paint brush, scissors, material, iron and ironing board.

The material is over 100 years old from my deceased grandma Mary.

Kleenex Box

Other photo’s: Sorry I did not know how to order these in the Order in which to do them…but I think you all understand. So was it worth for me to post this today? Did I inspire you?

Topic 285: Do you like surprises?

Life, is certainly, full of surprises,
there are new things happening,
everyday! It may be hard, to keep
up with these occurrences, but we
do our best, come what may. Some
I can say, are happy ones, which all
of us like to get, then there are those,
I’d like to propose, we try very hard, to
forget! We’d much rather look forward,
to good things and take every bit of it
in, for who needs to worry and get
ourselves, in a tail spin! If there are to
be surprises, may they always be, of
the very best kind. Now, I feel so much
better, because I got, a load off of my
mind!

Have you ever had a Birthday which relatives or family or friends: TOTALLY SURPRISED YOU? Nope! I have been a part of birthday surprises and they are the happiest moments of my life to be cherished forever.

My Poem today I just made:

This is your birthday enjoy it while you can

It lasts for just one day,

When you walked into the room,

Your reaction was the only attraction.

We hope you love our deviant plan

It will be a day of play,

When you walked in the room,

It was to our surprise that gave your reaction.

Happy Birthday____________________!

Weekly Photo Challenge: CATS

I am a huge cat lover and found this on facebook and just had to post it.

I am done with my One Week Security Training and I get to wear my official Security Uniform on Thursday.

I will be off Wed and Thursdays on the week of the 19th.

I have CPR training on Friday and my hours are different so that I can properly attend and train and be fully certified.

I am excited to learn so much as Andrews International Private Security does a GREAT job with training their new hires.

Well, This is all for now.

Hope you enjoyed this wonderful photo.
