#30Trust Challenge Question

Post-it Question by Jenny Blake

That which each can do best, none but his Maker can teach him. Where is the master who could have taught Shakespeare? Where is the master who could have instructed Franklin, or Washington, or Bacon, or Newton? . . . Shakespeare will never be made by the study of Shakespeare. Do that which is assigned you, and you cannot hope too much or dare too much. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

#30Trust Challenge question:

Identify one of your biggest challenges at the moment and turn it into a question-

(ie How can I do work I’m passionate about?)

Write it on a post-it and put it up on your bathroom mirror or the back of your front door.

After 48-hours, journal what answers came up for you and be sure to evaluate them.

Bonus: tweet or blog a photo of your post-it.

(Author: Jenny Blake)

I had a big challenge for today June 3rd 2011-I was “served” papers to go to court in my town for an old

debt. The amount was under 500.00, this told me that it was a “junk Debt collector” and with a degree

as a Paralegal- the other side showed up and guess what? I won my case. This proves to me that

I have knowledge like an attorney and I am so happy. It’s crazy I cannot find a job as a paralegal in Chicago IL

but I can help others with their junk debt collectors. If you read this, ask away.

How can I help others if they are summonsed to court for debts that they owe?

Just Write Freshly Pressed

To comment on the new distraction-free writing feature, go try it first! Here I am trying out the new layout. I love it so far. Write a post and see how it feels. Give it a “just write” tag. Then come back and tell us what you thought about the experience and give us your feedback in a comment on this post. Include a link to the first post you wrote in dfw mode so we can check you out

Quote:

When we do a person a favor, we tend to like them more as a result. This is because we justify our actions to ourselves that we did them a favor because we liked them.

Benjamin Franklin himself said, “He that has once done you a kindness will be more ready to do you another than he whom you yourself have obliged.”

Erica Tucci Zesty Womanhood at 40 and Beyond Book Review

If you believe that turning 40 is a central point in your life then this book is a great resource of reading for you. There are new challenges to experience as women during this spiritually awakening phase of life. The past 40 years helped us to be who we are today. Many of us got married, had a child or two or three and have labels of wife, mother, sister, home maker, coach, launderer, grocery shopper, bill payer, chef, chauffeurs, house keeper, volunteer, pet sitter and much more as Erica explains.

So women wonder at age 40 why we are exhausted! We have learned to put down our own needs and wants for the safe of our family, friends, co workers and so on and so forth. There comes a point where a woman’s boundaries are just nonexistent and we have allowed others to enter into our personal space 24/7. No wonder we are exhausted!

Erica explains that when she published her first book she had set no boundaries for herself. She let her everyday roles keep going as well as adding on the pressure of writing her first book. She does accomplish this with a valuable lesson for all to learn from.

Setting boundaries with others is the key to becoming balanced. It is a balance of giving and receiving not just always being the giver. It is so important to set “me time,” and re-energize ourselves before we can be much help to others in the first place.

This book is a wonderful read which anyone can identify with. Erica writes from her heart and soul. She shares her real life experiences to help women understand why 40 is pivotal point in our lives. Erica asks thought provoking questions to the reader which helped me refocus my life on the “me” aspect and not just the “others” aspect.

If you do purchase the book please let me know what you think.

Here is Eric’s Website: http://www.ericatucci.com/

The kindle version is ready for purchase now. Please visit Amazon.com and place Erica Tucci into the Search Author box. Thank you.

Post #61 The Great Tag Experiment

Tag You are It

March 2, 2011 Tags

This is a peek into what people on WordPress.com are talking about this very instant. It only includes recent activity, so it should change quite a bit over time. Click on any word to see the most recent posts under each tag or category.

The news seems to be the most popular tag out into the world of wordpress.com tags.

Music brings words to life and tags with music create a rolling ball.

Life has it’s ups and downs and trying to stay positive is everyone’s challenge~

Politics are just that politics.

Photography is pictures in words, expressions without words.

Travel seems popular but not something I enjoy doing but tag it for travel lovers.

Art is wonderful as we seek out new “Picasso” like-artists.

Food and Events go together as the television praises all the new things being made at home mothers and father.

This is as far as I can go, mentioning all those tags. :)

This is an experiment I think I failed.

Are you going to write a book?

Are you thinking of writing a book or eBook? I know I am! Scott Berkun has a website at

http://www.scottberkun.com/ and the best thing is he is so honest about everything on his site. He tells it “like it is.” For example if you have a passion about a topic or subject then he suggested that you should know that IS a great idea for a book. Here is his article http://www.scottberkun.com/blog/2010/is-your-book-idea-good/. I didn’t even know he had a website until today.

A house without a cat is not a home.

A house without a Cat is not a home

My cat Magic

Magic

My Cat magic: the story goes, one day I was working and a teenager brought in a tiny kitten. He said the mom was run over down the street, can you take this baby? After looking at him, of course I said YES. I left work to take the baby kitten to the vet, to get taken care of since his ears had mites. I also got him dipped for fleas. He ended up being the best cat I ever had. I still cry because he is no longer with me. Another blogger has their photo up and it looks exactly like my cat Magic. I came up with his name because he literally Popped out of No Where, and I took him home to be the Magic of my House. I love him still.
