Not that we want anything to happen to your home. As far as we know its perfectly safe and nice. But if it did, and you only had a minute to run in and grab some things, what would you take?

    There was a fire drill that we didn’t know of late last year in our building, I totally grabbed for my important documents and yes I was definitely leaving the laptops and some valuables which I only laugh at that it would have been left behind!
    This question reminds me of the movie “Leap Year”!

    My cats!
I have even trained my cats to come to me. I do not want them afraid in a fire or if a tornado were coming. So, I have trained them both. They know what it means to “get in the cage now.” So, I won’t have to fear. I can replace everything but them.
So I also have renters insurance b/c I live in an apartment.

Do you hate to do Laundry? I know I do…here is what I read on a post today…..

The Problem: You hate doing laundry almost as much as you hate shelling out the dough for detergent and the coin-op laundry. And nothing bugs you more than spending a precious weekend afternoon washing and folding.

The Solution: Dry cleaning is definitely expensive, but washing the rest of your clothes can be surprisingly affordable. Rates vary by geographic location, but can be as low as 79 cents per pound. If you don’t have a home washing machine to begin with, laundry service might be a good choice for you.

I would love to do this for a living as well as Clean and Organize for others. They kind of all go together too.

Let go of those messages that no longer serve you today, for example you may have said that statement in your past, but it is no longer true for you today. I am mostly Optimistic in 2011

It is nice to keep some money in your wallet or purse. If you only have 1.00 that is great! But try to increase that to more as you learn to empower your thoughts. This money will represent that you do have money.

In order to get you have to give. So if you need a book, give away a book. If you need 5.00 give it away, and if you do not have any money to give away, think of the amount you are giving away and it will come to you. We all have something to give, whether it is time, money, resources, tips, hugs, friendship, or an encouraging word.

LESSON TO PONDER: If you could write down exactly what you wanted to have happen to you today, what would you write?

I’ve chosen the winner for the tote bag. I wish I had enough tote bags to give away. But unfortunately, I only have the one. So since there were three to chose from, I wrote all your names down on a piece of paper.

    Sometimes the best way to tackle stress is to clean house and get organized. Set up a new email filter, organize your paperwork, clean the clutter off your desk, or something along those lines. When you have all your ducks in a row, so to speak, your workload will seem a lot more manageable.

Some years ago I took a class that focused on self-actualization through meditation, astral projection, past life regression, and the like.

During the last class, the teacher told me I was the most self-defeating person she ever met.

I laughed it off, figuring my tradition of showing up drunk to the Friday afternoon session irked her, or maybe my chakras were out of alignment.

Now that I’m unemployed and in my 30s, I wonder if she was on to something.
